POSITION SUMMARY

The Shipping and Receiving - Junior supports the daily operations of the shipping department to ensure that cannabis products are prepared, packaged, and shipped accurately and in full compliance with Health Canada regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of inventory handling, and adherence to security and compliance standards. The Shipping and Receiving - Junior works closely with the Shipping and Receiving – Senior, Logistics, QA/QC, and Production teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency in fulfilling customer orders and wholesale shipments.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing (preferred).
• Experience in a regulated environment such as cannabis, food, beverage, or pharmaceuticals (asset).
• Knowledge of Health Canada cannabis compliance and security regulations (asset).
• Forklift operating certificate

• Basic computer skills for logistics software, inventory tracking, and label printing systems.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Forklift/equipment operating experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to climb, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs safely.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment with moderate noise levels.
