JOB SUMMARY

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain operations of our organization. This position is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, including packaging standards.
• Experience in order fulfillment, picking & packing, and order picking techniques.
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment with attention to detail.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of AS400 systems is a plus. This position is essential for maintaining efficient operations within our shipping and receiving department. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to contribute to our team’s success.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and documenting items for delivery.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to load and unload materials safely.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions using RF scanners and MRP systems.
• Perform order picking and packing duties to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Assist with stocking shelves and organizing warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shipping and receiving operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment within the warehouse environment.
