Description We’re looking for a dependable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by managing incoming and outgoing materials with accuracy and efficiency. Essential duties and responsibilities: · Coordinate and manage all shipping and receiving activities ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. · Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality and properly document the inventory. · Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular cycle counts. · Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed following safety protocols. · Move the materials within the warehouse or production area. · Prepare packing list and Bill of Lading. · Load/unload material as required. · Prepare and package the shipments to route to customer or vendor in accordance with company standards. · Pick stock and, issue materials and kit the material for work in process jobs. · Notify appropriate personnel when materials have arrived. · Maintain a clean and organized work area. · Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. · Pick and scan orders accurately. · Other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Qualifications Shipping and Receiving Specialist. · Keen attention to details and accuracy in maintaining records. · Basic computer skills including electronic mail and Microsoft office Applications. Experience with ERP systems is also preferred. · High schools diploma or equivalent and /or one-year related experience. Physical Requirements · Lifting and moving materials that could weight up to 50 lbs. · Ability to stand for extended periods.
