JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Shipper Receiver ensures shipments are processed in a timely manner for outgoing shipments to customers. The Shipper Receiver works with other Supply Chain and Manufacturing department members to process shipments for departure by the appropriate shipment mode.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Intermediate experience with computers and Microsoft software.
  • Attention to detail and organized.
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record.
  • May be required to bend, stoop, sit and walk.
  • Ability to work within a physically environment.
  • Must be able to pass a forklift certification test and work in a shop environment with elevated noise.
Responsibilities
  • Assemblers orders, prepares goods for shipment.
  • Records shipment data, including weight, charges, etc..
  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies upon arrival.
  • Complete shipping and receiving reports.
  • Prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments.
  • Communicate with carriers for scheduling pickups and deliveries.
  • Pull inventory and stock finish goods.
  • Deliver shipment arrivals to local departments.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and abide by all safety policies.
  • Perform other duties, as necessary.
