Description JOB PURPOSE: The Shipping and Receiving Team Member is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Shipping Supervisor in the timely and accurate shipment of finished goods to our customers. Route incoming goods to the proper departments. Process receipts of incoming materials. Load and unload trucks and verify accuracy of the paperwork to the product. Report any defects or shortages of incoming materials to the department supervisor. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Fill in as needed in the absence of another employee. Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor. PM21 Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a high school education and three years of factory related experience in shipping and receiving. Required to read, write in English, follow verbal and written instructions and have good math skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must have some degree of computer knowledge for data entry purposes. Must be trained and certified to operate a forklift. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Required to lift up to 50lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
Responsibilities
The team member ensures the timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers by assisting the Shipping Supervisor with shipments and processing incoming materials. Key duties include routing goods, loading/unloading trucks, verifying paperwork accuracy, and reporting any material defects or shortages.
