JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in shipping & receiving roles.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order fulfillment methodologies.
• Experience using MRP systems or AS400 is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and accurately labeling them for delivery.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods safely.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve shipping and receiving processes.
