Description Position Summary: Package product for safe and efficient shipment. Efficiently receive, verify and store incoming raw materials for use in production. Essential Job Functions: Connect with delivery drivers to receive shipments as they arrive. Verify content and quality of delivery; compare received items to the items of the bill of lading. Compare shipments to work orders to ensure timely receipt of items. Communicate late deliveries and damaged or missing items to Material Buyer. Organize stock in storage and get materials to appropriate departments. Maintain orderly storage of materials/products to ensure efficiency. Conduct cycle counts as needed based on direction from Material Buyer and Controller. Ability to work overtime to ensure smooth and continuous manufacturing process. Use computer software to enter products as they are received. Build and repair pallets. Perform other tasks as assigned. Requirements Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Must place a strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand work orders. Ability to work with hand tools. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to effectively provide and accept feedback from colleagues based on work reviews. Essential Physical/ Mental Requirements: Occasional bending, lifting, and reaching. Ability to occasionally move and carry loads of up to 50 lbs. Good time management skills. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Must maintain concentration and focus on tasks requiring timeliness and accuracy while working in an environment with interruptions and occasional noise.
