Description Job Summary The Shipping Associate is responsible for supporting outbound logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures timely, accurate, and safe shipment of materials, products, and components while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. The Shipping Associate plays a key role in meeting production and customer delivery requirements. Key Responsibilities Shipping Prepare, package, label, and ship finished goods and materials in accordance with shipping requirements and company procedures. Load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment. Complete and maintain accurate shipping paperwork and system transactions. Material Handling & Inventory Move, stage, and organize finished goods throughout the warehouse. Ensure proper product identification, labeling, and storage. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives. Support production and order fulfillment needs by supplying materials as required. Equipment & Safety Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with company policy and OSHA regulations. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. General Warehouse Support Assist with palletizing, wrapping, banding, and consolidating shipments. Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements. Perform other warehouse and logistics-related duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional warehouse or logistics training preferred. 1–3 years of experience in shipping, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Forklift experience and ability to obtain certification. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Basic computer skills for inventory systems and shipping documentation. RF/EKW Scanner experience preferred.
