ABOUT MICROAIRE:
MicroAire Surgical Instruments , a mid-sized medical device company in Charlottesville Virginia, is seeking a part time Shipping Associate who is detail-oriented and reliable to package and make ready to ship medical device products. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of our supply chain, ensuring the efficient and timely shipment of medical products to surgical centers and hospitals all across the country. This is a great opportunity for a proactive individual to learn the fundamentals of logistics and contribute to MicroAire operational success. This is a part time 20hours a week temporary (up to 3 months) role working Monday and Friday 9:00 – 5:30 and Thursday 1:00-5:00.

EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years’ experience in logistics or warehouse role or equivalent transferable experience required.
SKILLS:
Ability to walk, stand, bend for extended periods of time, for packaging products.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Verbal and written communication skills sufficient to verify and maintain records required.
Must have basic knowledge of computers.
Strong organizational skills and ability to set and maintain priorities despite frequent interruptions.
Strong work ethic, excellent attendance record, quality minded performance, and good interpersonal.
