Description Position Overview: This role will be responsible for preparing and loading finished goods for shipment by performing various day-to-day tasks. Schedule: Monday-Friday / 9:00am-5:00pm The schedule for this position may change in the future to a 3-2-2-3 schedule from 4:45pm-5:00am. Compensation and Benefits: The expected starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and position responsibility. Ensure that trailers are secure, following company safety standards before entering Properly pick, stage and load outbound finished goods within established guidelines. Check dock equipment and rolling equipment for proper operation Assist with maintaining accurate records of production runs, conditions of trailers and equipment performance. Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for process improvement and aid in implementing changes as necessary. Positively communicate and interpret company policies and procedures. Maintain a good attendance record and arrive at work prior to scheduled shift time. Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures Wear proper protective equipment and clothing Keep work area clean and free from clutter Obey all safety rules pertaining to your work area and forklift use Report any visible safety hazards, equipment maintenance needs or failures, all accidents, incidents and unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience/Skills: Required: At least 18 years old One year of work experience Willing and able to become certified in forklift and crane operation Willing and able to work with computers Preferred: Forklift experience. Physical Requirements: Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and work in both heat and cold. Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions, operations, safety procedures, and hazardous labels.
