Description

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk for one of our clients located in Concord, ON with previous experience in the manufacturing industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

· The individual must be a team player, ability to adapt to fast and busy work environments and detail orientated, on the ball and has a sense of urgency when it comes to production needs
· Excellence in MS word
· High aptitude to listen to and retain important information
· Comfortable with computers and using multiple platforms
· Impeccable attention to detail with a process driven mindset
· Professional customer service skills: solutions mindset, educates and explains, collaborative solution finder, passion for the customer and the customer experience
· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to high pressure environment
· Writes, speaks, and presents information effectively
· Professional and positive interactions with others and can establish rapport quickly
Location: Concord, ON
Timings: Morning (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $17.5 to $19.5
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$19.50 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Generate shipping paperwork (waybill or bill of lading, packing slip, release or conformance certificate, commercial invoice, form B13 and any other documents required, etc) manually or computer generated on-line
  • Arrange shipping or courier pick-up according to schedule or instructions
  • Post and retrieve various alpha numeric data in computerized system and/or forms;
  • Complete and process forms, Meet deadlines and schedules for internal procedure(s) and Filling, scanning, etc.
  • Reception duties such as welcoming, greeting and processing visitor(s), answering multiline phone system and transferring to appropriate person, taking messages with accuracy and transmitting promptly; process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Confidentiality, execution of Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is essential
  • Maintain compliance with ITAR/Control Goods Program
  • Adhere to all company rules, policies and procedures at all times
  • Contribute to team effort
  • Other tasks of administrative nature as assigned
