We are currently seeking experienced and professional full-time candidates to join our team. Position Summary The Shipping Clerk is responsible for executing high-volume, end-to-end shipping and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced environment within the Warehouse and Shipping department. This is a non-exempt, hourly role focused on accuracy, productivity, and on-time delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Receive and process daily orders from the warehouse management system (WMS) with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency · Pick, pack, and prepare shipments including finished goods, printed materials, and related items in alignment with work order specifications · Ensure all shipments meet quality standards, including verifying quantities, specifications, and special handling instructions · Inspect products and packaging for defects and escalate discrepancies as needed · Review and prioritize work orders to meet production schedules, shipping deadlines, and customer expectations · Follow established SOPs and contribute ideas for process improvement · Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and assist in discrepancy resolution · Communicate delays, safety concerns, or operational risks to leadership in a timely manner Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA and company standards Requirements Qualifications- Education, Experience, Licenses/Certifications · High school diploma or equivalent required · Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment environment preferred · Experience with inventory control, picking/packing, and order fulfillment processes preferred · Forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification upon hire · Basic computer proficiency, including experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order processing software Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities · Working knowledge of parcel shipping systems, including FedEx and UPS · Basic understanding of freight shipping processes is a plus · Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory handling · Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment · Effective communication skills and ability to escalate issues appropriately · Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines consistently · Basic problem-solving skills and ability to identify and report discrepancies Physical Requirements · Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 pounds on a regular basis · Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the shift · Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks (forklift operation where applicable) · Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions · Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Compensation · This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The base compensation range for this role is $17.00 – $22.00 per hour, plus benefits. · This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including California wage and hour requirements. · Compensation within the posted range will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, job-related skills, education, and geographic location. · The Company complies with all applicable wage and hour laws, including minimum wage, overtime, and meal and rest break requirements.
