SHIPPING ASSOCIATE

This person is responsible for the quantity, content and presentation of the material that is shipped to the customer. This person ensures the correct shipping methods, addresses and labeling are maintained and deliveries are made according to due dates and deadlines.
This person will also be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of product to and from predetermined customers and vendors on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and vendors.

• Frequent standing, walking and lifting, as well as occasionally stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  Monday- Friday 7am- 3:30pm

  Pay: From $22.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week

Work Location: In perso

• Communicates daily with supervisor, production, and sales.
• Coordinates pickup and deliveries. Monitor and direct drivers as needed.
• Prepares orders for shipping and checks orders in staging area ensuring orders have been properly filled. Filling orders.
• Loads and unloads trucks by hand or using a stand-up forklift.
• Coordinates delivery of orders to customers and vendors.
• Prepares shipping paperwork.
• Monitors and ensures that delivery deadlines are met as needed.
• Uses our computer software (Accura, EFI, and Antera) to mark jobs as complete in the system in order to alert scheduling that jobs are complete.
• Drives as back-up driver when needed.
• Back-up to Production/Floater in all capacities
• Maintains clean work area.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.
