Description Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of receiving and performing a variety of warehouse duties by performing the following duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prepares customer shipments accurately according to pick tickets by lifting, packaging, weighing and recording pertinent shipping information on pick ticket for internal use. Contacts freight companies for pick ups, deliveries, discrepancies and damaged shipments. Maintains warehouse shelves and areas in a clean, organized manner. Move or expedite material to proper department or place in temporary storage. May operate forklift in unloading of material. Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and other Abilities: Effective oral and written communication skills. Time management skills. High level of organization and the ability to keep time lines and due dates. Demonstrates good judgment and decision making based on information given. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack and rolling ladders. Clean driving record. Requirements Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years of work related experience.
