Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Pull parts for shipments as required. Package product as required. Obtain weight and dimensions of product being shipped. Use Syteline to process shipments. Use carrier websites to arrange for pickup and/or delivery of product. Maintain accurate inventory. Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of computers and/or the ability to grasp computer proficiency quickly. Knowledge of packaging standards and warehouse equipment. Ability to count parts and record data accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Customer service focused. Willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills. Ability to work within tight timeframes and deadlines which, in turn, necessitates both a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize duties based on immediate needs. Ability to work in a changing environment that is dynamic and has priorities that change often and quickly. Ability to follow processes and safety guidelines accurately Excel in a fast-paced work environment. Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED One or more years in a warehouse environment in shipping, receiving or other major warehouse functions Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience UPS WorldShip, FedEx and LTL software experience Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity and sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Frequent climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping and crouching. Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents or equipment screens. Lifting and/or exerting of force up to 50 pounds frequently and team lifting heavier items. Frequent pushing and pulling with a manual pallet jack or wheeled cart.
