Position Overview * The Western Sugar Cooperative has a challenging opportunity for a Shipping Clerk position for the Warehouse.  This position is responsible for the direction and coordination phases of shipping in the Fort Morgan, Colorado facility. Essential Functions  * Live our Core Values of: Being a Safety Leader, Integrity, Openness & Trust, Teamwork, Entrepreneurship, and Social Responsibility,    * Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership.  Working with others to perform against the plant site safety plan with the goal of being a zero-injury workplace * Manage the outbound trucking dock, including working with drivers and carriers, generation of SAP documentation, and ensuring product is meeting all quality standards * Oversee the scheduling, receipt and outbound processing of bulk trucks and dry vans from/to other facilities & customers, including SAP data entry * Collaborate with Terminal Supervisors regarding STO needs * Effectively communicate with external vendors, customer service and sales regarding inventory status and availability * Assist the Terminal Supervisor with inventory control of all products in the warehouse, including sugar, pallets, packaging materials, and ingredients * Work closely with Terminal Supervisor and quality team on mock recall process * Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager * Must have knowledge of and adherence to GMP’s including the understanding of the direct link between food safety and customer satisfaction * Any other duties as assigned Skill & Experience Requirements * High school diploma or GED is a requirement  * 2-3 years leadership experience preferred * Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership * Must have strong written and verbal communication and math skills * Must have strong computer skills including email applications, Microsoft Word, Excel and working knowledge of SAP ) * Must have proven organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, controlling the minute-by-minute demands, while meeting customer requirements, cross-town loads, inventory details, etc. * Ability to be on your feet and in a warehouse in all temperatures * Strong customer focus mind-set * Solid leadership and influencing skills * Friendly, results oriented, and collaborative Working Relationship * Report to the Terminal/Supervisor Employment Requirements: * Must be 18 years or older Leadership skills: * Solid leadership and influencing skills Travel Requirements, if any (please indicate percentage): * 0%-5%   Position Type:      Non- Union  Status: Non-Exempt   Location: Fort Morgan, CO  Benefits:  Medical, Vision, Dental, LTD, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP),  401K  with match opportunity and the Company also contributes an additional 6% discretionary amount into each employee’s 401(k) at the end of the calendar year.
