Due to this growth, we are seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Port Alberni, B.C.

• Perform daily shipping tasks, including accurate and secure packing of shipments.
• Select appropriate packaging materials and methods suitable for aerospace products.
• Follow aerospace regulations and quality control requirements during packaging.
• Secure parts and assemblies to prevent damage during transit using specialized procedures.
• Organize and stage packaged shipments for carrier pick-up (e.g., FedEx, air freight, dedicated couriers).
• Verify carrier requirements and schedule pickups to meet deadlines.
• Inspect and confirm shipment integrity before carrier handoff.
• Complete all required shipping documentation (waybills, packing slips, compliance forms).
• Update shipment details in inventory and tracking systems.
• Ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations.
• Support receiving operations, including unloading, inspecting, and documenting inbound shipments.
• Identify and report discrepancies in shipments (quantity, labeling, part numbers, damage).
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g. forklifts).
• Support additional Supply Chain department tasks as required.
