Ready to play a key role in our logistics operations? Here at Robin, we are looking for a Shipping Coordinator. This person will be crucial to the success of our operations. You will coordinate the shipment of our radars, following the process end-to-end from confirmation of the order to its final destination. By making sure we are on top of everything, you will guarantee our clients’ satisfaction and happiness!

Responsibilities
  • You ensure full compliance with all national and international shipping regulations, trade laws, and customs requirements.
  • You oversee the entire shipping process from order placement through to final, accurate delivery.
  • You coordinate directly with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams for seamless scheduling, tracking, and customs clearance of all shipments.
  • You prepare and meticulously maintain all required shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
  • You guarantee proper packaging, labeling, and handling of goods to prevent damage or loss during transit.
  • You monitor shipment progress, proactively identify and resolve any delays or discrepancies, and communicate updates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • You identify and implement opportunities to optimize shipping processes for greater efficiency and cost reduction.

You have an intermediate vocational degree in logistics, supply chain management or a relevant field;

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in shipping coordination or similar logistics roles;
  • You have proven experience with arranging documentation and shipments outside of the EU;
  • You have experience with trade compliance, preferably within the Defense and Security Industry.
  • You have strong knowledge of shipping and freight forwarding processes, including domestic and international shipping regulations;
  • You have a self-starter mentality that takes control in a fast paced environment;
  • You have the ability to prioritize and organize your workload based on needs and priorities within the organization;
  • Strong communicator; fluent in English – Dutch considered a plus;
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems
  • You live in The Netherlands, within commuting distance from The Hague.
