JOB BRIEF

We are looking for a Shipping & Customs Clearance Officer, being responsible alongside the Logistics Manager for the overall supply chain management. You will organise and monitor the importation and distribution of our fresh produce from our key global supply lanes, managing every aspect of all planning, logistics, freight & customs obligations, door to door.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proven working experience in Customs declarations, specifically EU importation from Third Countries.
· Demonstrable knowledge of Global Shipping (Sea & Air) & Incoterms.
· Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Basic written and verbal Spanish desirable.
· Proficient in Microsoft office, word, excel.
· Proficient in Information Systems (Customs) & WM systems (Prophet desirable).
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
· Experience in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dublin, CO. Dubli

Responsibilities

· Strategically plan and manage the logistics, transportation, distribution, customs & imports
· Keep track of global freight movements, expected stock, delivery times and transport cost
· Liaise with haulers and coordinate the collections from the port daily
· Process Customs clearance: road, sea and airfreight
· Process certifications, CHED for plant products and comply with regulations from the Department of Agriculture
· Liaise with Customs and issue reports to Revenue
· Direct, optimise and coordinate fully the inbound supply chain.
· Liaise, coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, their agents, shipping lines and logistics companies.
· Keep track of global freight movements, expected stock, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
· Customs Clearance, Agriculture Licencing.
· Full documentation & paperwork trail.
· Compliance with & Auditing of all laws, customs procedures, regulations, information & declarations.
· Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
· Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
· Other tasks as required by the Logistics Manager
