Description Department: Shipping Summary: Accurately assemble, package, and ship quality products according to engineer’s print’s directions and shop order’s requests. Follows policies and procedures put in place as well as any modifications while always being aware to preserving the product’s integrity and quality. Primary Duties: Find, print and understand shop orders, customer orders and engineers drawings To use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate the hoist Able and willing to work customer service Retrieve orders, collect product and package orders Complete customer orders to ship product by the shipping date To mentor and train other employees Able to locate on hand quantities to complete products Able to read and use measuring tools accurately Complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis To load and secure products on trucks as needed To work as a team and be self motivated to work independently To actively be looking for new and improved ways to do things Meet reasonable production goals Position descriptions are intended to define in general terms the most significant duties of a particular position and are not all inclusive of all duties or responsibilities of individual positions.
