Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Attending to Customer’s enquiries and booking of shipments
  • Arrange for space bookings and monitoring
  • Liaise closely with Import/Export Department for smooth execution for all jobs
  • Preparation of all pre-alerts to all respective stations prior to arrival and departure of shipping
  • Checking of arriving and uplift details each morning and also keep all Customers informed of the acquired information
  • To check and ensure customers special request/handling is duly complied
  • Deal with the respective parties effectively & efficiently, using a diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Good fillings systems and proper housekeeping
  • Build and improve good working relationships with the internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in freight forwarding (seafreight)
  • GCE’O’ Level & above
  • Independent as well as a term player with initiative, willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Proficient in MS office applications
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Committed individual to work in a fast moving environment
  • Must be able to operate efficiently under pressure and able to multi-task
