JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate processing of shipments and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations, as well as proficiency with warehouse management systems.

SKILLS

• Proficient in shipping and receiving processes with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience with load/unload operations using pallet jacks and reach trucks.
• Familiarity with MRP systems, AS400, or similar warehouse management software.
• Ability to operate RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them accurately.
• Load and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using MRP systems and RF scanners.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests efficiently.
• Organize the warehouse to ensure optimal space utilization and accessibility of products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
