Job Title: Shipping I Summary: In this role, the associate will build skids, package materials, create labels and transport materials with fork truck within shipping area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives. * Must be able to operate a forklift, pallet jack or hand dolly to transfer supplies, parts or materials received from the loading dock. * Must be able to stock supplies, parts, or materials in designated areas. * Must be able to transfer, handle and cut wood utilized in the building of skids. * Must be able to utilize nail guns and hand tools to build skids. * Must be able to band, foam and shrink wrap hoods. * Must be able to move crated hoods to shipping area. * Must affix required documentation and labeling on product. * Must maintain a clean and sanitary work area. * Must be able to use a handheld scan gun to record labor hours. * Must be able to document outgoing shipments with pictures and completed documents. * Must be able to assist with inventory counts. * Must be able to download pictures for record keeping. Qualifications * Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions. * Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. * Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance. * Compliance with all personnel policies and practices. * On the job training, training, and certification in operation of heavy equipment, regular training and re-certification required. * Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams. * Ability to perform simple mathematics * Ability to perform multistep procedures * Comprehension of verbal and written instructions in English Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
