Description

Position Description: Perform duties to prepare and execute the shipment and receipt of product, raw materials and supplies. Primary Responsibilities: * Act as Shipping/Receiving Lead at 3800/945 1. Verify trucks are being loaded or unloaded in a timely manner 2. Sequence the outbound/inbound flow of trucks at 945/3800 3. Organize outbound and inbound moves at those buildings * Work as a backup for the appointment process 1. Answer emails in timely manner 2. Sequence the outbound schedule for both buildings accurately * Communicate with the spotter at 945/3800 to move finished product and supplies * Follow finished goods storage process for packaging lines 1. Communicate with the P1, P2, Retail, B2C line leads on fnished goods storage plan for the next 24 hours * Build, Prepare and Ship B2C shipments 1. Build, label, and inventory B2C pallets 2. Ship B2C orders * Receiving of inbound supplies. 1. Receive in adage all supplies when delivered 2. Edit the drop trailer sheet, auditing as needed 3. Verify quantity and location of cardboard/other supplies at 3800/945 4. Review Expected Receipts and notify leadership of any discreencies 5. Execute receipt and storage of labels. * Build and ship sample orders as requested * Special Projects as assigned Supervisory/Management Responsibilities: * None Requirements: * Able to speak, read and write English * Prior forklift and walker experience * Basic math skills * Basic working knowledge of computers and programs related to email and database management * Able to work overtime and weekends as needed * Valid Driver’s License Physical Requirements: * Able to lift 50 lbs. daily, approximately 5% of each day * Able to walk/stand approximately 8 hours per day This is a union position and comes with benefits provided by the union, upon completion of the 90 day probationary period. Responsibilities

This role acts as the Shipping/Receiving Lead, responsible for verifying and sequencing the timely loading and unloading of trucks, organizing inbound/outbound moves, and managing the outbound schedule for two buildings. Key duties also include building, preparing, and shipping B2C orders, receiving inbound supplies, and communicating storage plans with line leads.
