Exceldor Cooperative, an Award-Winning, long-standing company seeks a Lead Hand in our Distribution Department for the afternoon shift working 2:00pm – 10:30pm at our Blumenort location! This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Training of employees within the department.
• Follow established safety practices and ensure preventative maintenance programs are being followed
• Complete all necessary paperwork required for logistics purposes.
• Hold employees accountable for their work.
• Ensure all HACCP documentation is completed.

Qualifications:

• Shipping/Distribution experience
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Work well within and promote a positive team environment
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Strong computer skills required
• Working knowledge of HACCP
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement in the workplace would be an asset
• Previous leadership experience would be an asset
• Class 1 License considered an asset but not required, however, individual must be willing to have the skill and ability to attain their Class 1 License

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,870.60-$55,000.00 per year
