POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipments throughout Canada and the USA. This role involves coordinating freight, preparing customs paperwork, providing customer service, and ensuring orders leave our facility on time and in great condition. You will work closely with our team through Shopify for order management and use ClickShip for quoting and shipping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or freight coordination (domestic and cross-border) preferred.
  • Knowledge of customs documentation and brokerage processes is an asset.
  • Experience with Shopify and ClickShip (or similar platforms) is a strong asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily shipments throughout Canada and the USA, including small parcel, freight, and LTL shipments.
  • Prepare and submit customs brokerage documentation for cross-border shipments.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or damages in transit.
  • Provide customer service by email and phone for shipping-related inquiries, including tracking updates, freight quotes, and claims.
  • Communicate with carriers, freight brokers, and customers to resolve shipping issues.
  • Use Shopify to manage orders and communicate with the internal team.
  • Use ClickShip to generate quotes, book shipments, and track deliveries.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are packaged and labeled correctly.
  • Document and follow up on damage claims with carriers.
