POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced & results- driven Shipping Manager to oversee the efficient movement of products and material in our windows & patio door manufacturing business. The Shipping Manager is responsible for leading the Shipping and Receiving department, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with safety policies, and upholding quality standards. This role involves developing a strategic plan for the department aligned with company goals, overseeing day-to-day activities, improving processes, and managing shipping forecasts to meet production and delivery requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience in shipping/receiving or logistics within a manufacturing environment (experience in windows or building materials is an asset).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to empower, coach, and develop teams.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and KPI management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems (e.g., MS Office, Fenevision).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or quality management are an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
