Description Rovanco Piping Systems, a leading manufacturer of pre-insulated piping systems, has an immediate need for a Full Time Shipping & Material Manager. The Shipping & Material Manager is responsible for performing various tasks to aid in daily operations such as: Arrange for transportation of finished products by obtaining rates from transportation companies and checking with customer for approval. Notify customer of order completion and shipping/delivery date. Notify transportation service of shipment and schedule pick up. Adjust finished goods inventory for items shipped. Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, shipping lines, delivery dates and supply shipping documents when necessary. Work with Procurement regarding shipping and receiving materials as well as placement and inventory levels of materials Establish procedures and co-supervise the annual physical inventory. Manage the shipping and receiving functions of the company and oversee the storage of purchased parts and finished goods. Ensure that standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions. Responsible to manage employees engaged in various materials management activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Basic computer skills are required. Knowledge of DOT rules & regulations preferred. Requirements Maintain valid forklift certification Knowledge of how to use small hand tools Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
