Shipping Office Assistant Sofidel America of Haines City, FL is currently seeking a Shipping Office Assistant. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment with opportunity for growth. Job Responsibilities: * Issues the transport documents and relative travel documents for all outgoing goods from the Plant * Files all documents handled * Interfaces with the company departments if issues are noted on the sales order of goods that are to be delivered * May creates the loading list * May weighs incoming and outgoing trucks * Verifies compliance between the weight of the shipped product and the value recorded on the system * Reports any issues noted to the Manager/Supervisor * Promotes a safety-related corporate culture * Applies the Corporate Principles and Values * Performs other job related duties in area of responsibility as assigned * Work in a fast- paced environment * TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT  Computer, copy machine, fax, telephone, radiophone, walkie-talkie, calculator, hand held electronic.  * Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to considerable paper dust and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection. Job Requirements: * High School diploma or general education degree (GED) * 1-2 years of related work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. * Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. * Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of SAP or equivalent is required. * Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
