ABOUT THE ROLE:

A leading logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking an Air Import/Export Agent to support day-to-day operations in international shipping. This position plays a vital role in coordinating documentation, communicating with carriers and brokers, and ensuring timely and compliant cargo movement.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AIR IMPORT/EXPORT AGENT:

  • Prepare and process air import/export shipments, including customs clearance, labeling, and document distribution.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with trucking companies, airlines, steamship lines, and bonded facilities.
  • Generate and distribute delivery orders, shipping labels, and invoices.
  • Work closely with internal teams and customs brokers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry and filing.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment within credit terms.
  • Support the import/export team and handle assigned tasks as directed by leadership.
