Description Shipping Operator – Job Description At Aradius Group, our shipping team plays a critical role in ensuring every project reaches its final destination accurately and on time. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping Operator to manage outbound shipments, coordinate deliveries, and support overall logistics operations. This role combines hands-on warehouse work with local deliveries and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and knowledge of shipping processes. What You’ll Do: Prepare and process outbound shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation. Make local deliveries using a box truck to the post office and other local businesses. Ensure shipments comply with USPS regulations, including proper preparation and sorting. Load and unload shipments, verifying quantities against packing lists and manifests. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse. Coordinate with internal departments to meet shipping deadlines and production schedules. Perform quality control checks to ensure shipments are accurate and properly packaged. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations. Who We Are Looking For: Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in shipments and documentation. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Organized and able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines at once. Familiarity with shipping processes and logistics operations. Dependable with a strong sense of accountability. What You Bring: Experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience operating a box truck. Knowledge of USPS postal regulations, including bulk mail processing and sorting, preferred. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Basic computer skills, including experience with shipping or inventory systems (PACE or Process Shipper preferred).
