Description Shipping and Receiving Associate - Monday through Friday - Day Shift The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Unload delivery trucks and check incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing and storing shipments until they receive outgoing order requests and notifying management personnel when they don’t have enough of a particular product to fulfill orders. Prepare, package, and palletize outgoing shipments to company and customer specifications. General Duties and Responsibilities Keep track of shipment schedules for incoming shipments. Track inventory counts and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies. Properly account for the location of incoming goods Assuring no damaged items are sent or received Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock Receiving, stocking, and stacking Pulling, packing, and loading Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team Requirements Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent At least one year of demonstrated logistics experience Recent relevant experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment Shipping and/or Receiving experience in a palletized warehouse environment required.
