Responsibilities · Receive and process incoming shipments and deliveries · Prepare and package parcel items for shipment, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and packaged · Coordinate with LTL and parcel carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries · Create BOLs and invoice all outgoing shipments and send paperwork to appropriate parties (this is specific to Georgetown) · Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts · Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding shipment discrepancies or damages · Assist Shipping Manager in obtaining quotes for shipments and booking loads · Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent · 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Knowledge of international shipping documents is a plus · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software · Ability to work independently and as part of a team What we offer: · Medical coverage with BCBS. · Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and Group Life Insurance with Principal. · As a benefit to our employees, we also offer supplemental policies with Aflac and Legal/ID Shield.
