Position Summary
Safely participate in the day to day yard activities including maintaining accurate rack/bin movements.

Job Functions/Duties

  • Review Order Tickets and confirm with the Customer Service department the availability of required outbound equipment
  • Collect and load outbound shipments per the Order Ticket
  • Unload, unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record and report shortages and discrepancies, and correspond with shipping & receiving documents to rectify damages and shortages for accuracy
  • Verify serial numbers of inbound and outbound equipment, process the required documents and upload all documentation
  • Move and record equipment location changes after completed operational activities; DIFA, Testing, etc.
  • Communicate and coordinate the necessary inventory stock level replenishments
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, as part of daily activities; and must be able to obtain forklift certification
  • Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action

Qualifications/Education Requirements

  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or inventory databases
  • Good oral and written communication and analytical skills
  • Must have experience handling multiple projects simultaneously, and working in an environment, which requires flexibility, time management, and accuracy
  • Highly motivated and able to work efficiently and safely
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of inventory warehouse experience preferred

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Continuously required to move about the facility which may include exposure to various outdoor elements and physical labor
  • Rotating On-Call schedule and the ability to work weekends
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment, including but not limited to, eye protection, hardhat and safety shoes in designated areas throughout the warehouse
  • This is a safety sensitive position
