Description
Key Responsibilities * Receive incoming shipments; inspect for damage, verify quantities, and match against purchase orders and packing slips * Accurately enter receipts into ERP/WMS systems * Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations * Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and staging orders * Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment * Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics to prioritize material flow * Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and regular audits * Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including proper forklift operation * Handle documentation such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and carrier paperwork * Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to appropriate teams Qualifications and Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * 1–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred * Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) * Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS experience preferred) * Ability to read shipping documents and follow work instructions * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly * Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment operation * Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
