JOB SUMMARY (the purpose and general nature of the job): Ensures the effective and efficient movement of outgoing orders. Ensures the effective and efficient movement of incoming materials and supplies. Communicating effectively, working independently or as a member of a team to ship, receive, and inventory/process items that are used in the manufacture or assembly of product in a thorough, accurate, and rapid-response manner. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following: Shipping - * Ensures accurate address matching shipping documents to ERP system orders. * Required shipment paperwork; shipment data, transportation method, transportation space and shipping charges * Assembles orders, prepares goods for shipment to include building boxes and crates. * Uses camera to take pictures of outbound shipment picklists, parts, etc. and download pictures daily into Stolle share drives. * Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines and adheres to practice, policy and procedure of the assigned location to perform the functions of the job. * Completes shipping and receiving reports. * Ensures all documentation is in order and entered into the appropriate tracking mechanism. * Daily interaction with outbound truck drivers to include signing bill of ladings, opening/closing dock doors and lift gates, loading outbound material(s) on carrier equipment. Receiving – * Daily interaction with inbound truck drivers to include signing bill of ladings, opening/closing dock doors and lift gates, unloading inbound material(s) from carrier equipment. * Reports inbound damages during unloading process for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes. * Safely and efficiently opening numerous inbound packages during the course of daily business with box cutters ensuring no damage to inbound freight. * Verfying inbound part numbers & quantities match vendor/supplier packing slips. Reporting discrepancies via either email and/or database entries to alert purchasing personnel. * Accurately receives purchase order in ERP system verifying correct part number(s) and quantities, entering packing slip numbers, inventory locations as needed. * Accurately labeling inbound freight with product labels. Material Handling - * Use forklift, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely move items/product in and around the assigned facility. * Assist employees with the safe retrieval and handling of WIP, finished goods, materials and other items that are used in daily operation. * Maintain supplies and equipment used in daily activities at the assigned facility. * Operates saw to saw material for manufacturing. * Operate vehicles such as pickup truck and/or flatbed truck to transport materials, machinery, products, etc as needed. Inventory - * Required to maintain an accurate and orderly inventory of WIP, finished goods, and materials, including proper identification, care, and custody of these items. * Perform daily inventory counts as requested by management. * Disposition of parts to and from Quality Department Additional responsibilities and duties can and will be assigned through the course of the workday. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 0-3 years of experience performing shipping and receiving duties in a manufacturing facility. Able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely to move product in and around the assigned facility. Able to operate vehicles with either automatic or manual transmissions. Other: * Attention to detail * Ability to multi-task * Able to read, write, and speak English effectively * Maintain daily a clean, swept, working environment (dusting/mopping/etc. as needed) * Use of email (Outlook)daily * Use of hand-held scanning devices * Knowledge and Use of Excel, Word preferred * Typing skills a plus * Navigation of multiple application screens on computer desired PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment: * Work schedule generally consists of 40+ hours per week, which may include overtime, on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends. * This position requires lifting; must be able to lift objects which weigh up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. * This position also requires standing for extended periods of time on a daily basis. * Periodically (minimal) will work in cool/cold work environments.

Responsibilities
