Description The position of Shipping & Receiving Coordinator focuses on the receiving of ordered materials and shipping of parts and finished product. Duties/Responsibilities: • Works under the direction of the Controller with guidance from Electrical Operations Manager • Receives internally ordered materials and product directly supplied by our customers • Prepares received materials for proper storage for later use in the assembly process • Acknowledges the receipt of materials to accounting • Packages and crates finished product for shipment to customers • Prepares appropriate internal and external documentation for tracking of shipped product • Works with approved carriers to setup logistics of product delivery • Assists with the internal organization, staging and moving of parts and product Revised by: JDZ, RS, BS 5/7/2026 • Manages the return of product to suppliers as needed • Coordinate local deliveries & pickups • Clerical work as needed • Responsible for loading and unloading trucks by hand and with powered equipment Requirements Qualifications: • Highly organized with high attention to detail • Proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word and other software as needed • Ability to operate sit-down Hi-lo/Forklift • Ability to evaluate multiple options for the purpose of making clear and concise decisions • Capable of working with teams, but comfortable with being self-directed with minimal supervision • Focuses on meeting customer expectations, both external and internal Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift/handle up to 50 pounds, and/or up to 100 pounds with assistance • Ability to bend, stop, crouch, reach, turn, twist, and push are essential functions of the job • Ability to visually determine colors Education: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
