SUMMARY:

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our innovative Facilities team in our Store Support Center in Nashville TN. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for performing inventory management for incoming and outgoing company products and parts necessary for company operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associates degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of inventory management experience.
  • Or, any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in the retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manages company office inventories, including maintenance of inventory area, inventory organization and racking, inventory cycle counting and reporting, and monthly inventory accounting.
  • Completes daily receiving entries in computer system. Distributes to purchasing locations for filing. Maintains counts on all Cap Ex equipment for new construction, including staging by site for all incoming equipment.
  • Manages all outbound shipments, including preparation of sequentially numbered paperwork in accounting system, management of packing materials inventories, packaging of products to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services.
  • Audits and reports inventory levels and makes recommendations on items and amounts for restocks.
  • Transfers equipment and products between company locations, as needed.
  • Performs general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments and outside vendors.
  • Performs housekeeping and maintenance on exterior of buildings, parking lots, grounds, drains, etc.
  • Distributes documentation, including transfer of all original documents, to purchasing supervisor for distribution.
  • Develops and communicates standard reporting and analysis for the department for shipping and receivables.
  • Serves as back-up to Shipping & Receiving Coordinators at other company locations when they are absent on PTO, LOA, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all company, client, employee, and vendor information.
  • Reacts productively to change.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
