Del Amo Motorsports is a leading Powersports dealership in Southern California, with five locations across Orange County, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, and San Diego. Our subsidiary, Harley-Davidson of El Cajon, is seeking a motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. SHIPPING AND RECIEVING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure all merchandise received is promptly checked in and put in stock according to procedures. Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders. Shipment and purchase order reconciliation and entry. Packing boxes, preparing pallets, and preparing shipments. Facilitates shipments by inspecting product upon receipt. Selecting product from Warehouse shelves and moving to shipping area. Professionally packaging product to ensure safe delivery. Preparing final customer invoice. Determining the best delivery methods to ensure customer satisfaction and optimum profitability. Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. Computer processing of all orders through our integrated system software. Physical shipping and receiving of product for Customer and Warehouse orders. Inventory vehicle parts and input information into LightSpeed and/or computer system. Completes reports by entering required information. Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity by carefully checking in return goods from customers. Completing proper computer processing or paperwork and applying appropriately. Ability to acknowledge that all merchandise is in proper location according to Warehouse design and that Warehouse is kept organized, clean and clutter free and safe at all times. Possess a clear understanding of all Warehousing and distribution job functions and be able to perform all jobs efficiently. Ensure the safeguarding of all company property. Prioritizes and schedules the daily activities of the shipping and receiving departments. Maintain department’s stock and inventory. Maintain department to the needs of the dealership and customer. Familiar and knowledgeable in motorcycle industry parts. Have the ability and desire to keep current on trends and new products in the industry. Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping. Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times. Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. Maintain a positive working relationship with all other Managers, Employees and Departments NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Prefer some computer literacy. Prefer interest and experience in Motorsports industry. Prior experience in Shipping & Receiving. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2+ Shipping & Receiving Warehouse experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift 100lbs. Creative problem solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically. Highly organized with ability to multi-task across multiple projects Expert software skills including MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines. This position reports directly to the General Manager
Responsibilities
