Dock Worker
Hours: 3:45am-12:15pm, Monday to Friday, No weekends
Duties:
- Load and unload freight from trailers using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Sort and organize freight in the warehouse according to designated areas
- Operate warehouse management system to track and locate freight
- Perform order picking and packing duties as needed
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Willingness to assist with general yard work such as trailer checks, sweeping dock areas, and other maintenance as required
-Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
-Must be available for early morning shifts
-Ability to work in varying temperatures (inside dock, outdoor yard work)
-Attention to detail for verifying incoming/outgoing freight and manifesting accurately
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with warehouse is a plus
- Prior experience in freight handling, loading/unloading trailers, or dock work (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, throughout the day, sometimes
- Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desired
-Capable of standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately

-Strong communication skills to interact with drivers and dispatch
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
