We have an opening for a Distribution Worker to join our team. A Distribution Worker ensures the efficient handling, organization, and movement of materials to support production and shipping operations. Freshpack is a custom cheese packaging company that develops and innovates cheese products and packaging. Our products can be found in all 50 states and in most major retailers. Over the past 25 years, our team has grown from 15 to 290+ employees. It is an exciting time to join our team, as we are poised for substantial growth over the next 3-5 years. Duties/Responsibilities Organization of storage areas Receiving and organizing materials Help unload and load trucks Verify tags on skids Keep the racks updated with correct tags Keeping materials organized in a way that is efficient for both production and the shipping department Daily temperature monitoring and communicating with the maintenance department when there is a problem Safe operation of warehousing equipment Prepare for incoming products to speed up the receiving process Order Picking Pull materials for production Requirements Required Skills/Abilities Excellent communication skills Proficient math skills Excellent attention to details Education and Experience One or more years of forklift experience Physical Requirements Heavy lifting required (50 pounds+) Shifts 2nd: 2:00pm - 11:30 pm M-Th, 2:00pm - 6:00pm F Pay $18.00 per hour + $2.00/hour weekly bonus potential Benefits Medical, dental, vision, company-provided life insurance & more!
