JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipping and receiving processes are executed efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and the use of various warehouse equipment.

EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse management is preferred.
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and packaging standards is essential.
• Forklift License required or be able to be obtained
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry.
• Good team member.

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize software management systems (ERP) to track inventory
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading goods.
• Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain organized storage areas.
• Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.
