We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team at KD Discount Tire, our retail tire center. Experience in an independent shop or large dealer is preferred. Duties will include receiving and storing arriving shipments, dispatching drivers for deliveries, stocking in all items, ensuring inventory is accurate, delivering parts to appropriate parties, preparing parts and materials for shipment and maintaining shipping records. Requirements The required schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. A valid driver's license and good driving record is required. 2+ Years of prior inventory experience is preferred Work is performed indoors, spending up to 70% of work shift using computers and phone systems. Standing and walking for up to 80% of work shift is required. Carrying and lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally required when moving parts. Bending, twisting, squatting, and above shoulder reaching will occur occasionally throughout work shift.
Responsibilities
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving and storing shipments, dispatching drivers for deliveries, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Additional duties include preparing parts for shipment and maintaining shipping records.
