  • Minimum of high school education required, post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management is an asset
  • Forklift license
  • Training in WHMIS

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS :

  • Experience supervising employees within a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of warehousing, freight carriers, and the associated procedures.
  • Working knowledge of a computerized warehouse environment.
  • The ability to multitask and work cooperatively with a variety of departments within FME-Canada.
  • Forklift experience
Responsibilities

PURPOSE AND SCOPE :

Supports FME Canada’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FME Canada Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, this individual will be responsible for all matters pertaining to the shipping, receiving and storing of Fresenius Medical Care products in addition to the maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Manage and supervise the shipper/receivers working in the warehouse assuring teamwork and commitment to company goals.
  • Responsible for the receiving of in-bound and the shipping of out-bound products in accordance with Fresenius Medical Care Canada’s SOP (standard operating procedure), including the processing and maintenance of all documentation. Including but not limited to scheduling of inbound and outbound traffic using the appropriate tools.
  • Responsible for the location and storage of products ensuring product integrity, accessibility and personnel safety.
  • Responsible for insuring product quarantine as required in accordance to FME Canada’s SOP.
  • Responsible for insuring product destruct orders are fulfilled in accordance to FME Canada’s SOP.
  • Maintain warehouse pest and sanitary records in accordance with FME Canada’s SOP.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager conduct perpetual inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is routinely serviced, maintained in safe operational condition and operated in a safe manner at all times.
  • Report any safety or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Provide backup coverage for the broad spectrum of Customer Service activities as required.
  • Carry a phone when required.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
