Description Summary This position is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving operations, including supervisory duties, export documentation, freight coordination, inventory management, and interdepartmental communication. The role requires technical proficiency utilizing an ERP system and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities · Supervise shipping and receiving operations. · Generate weekly shipment schedule based on customer requirements and production timelines (e.g., laser, rewind, slitter). · Prepare export documentation and invoices. · Coordinate freight quotes and shipments with logistics providers. · Coordinate pickups with customers. · Communicate with QA and production supervisors to ensure on-time deliveries. · Maintain customer safety stock while ensuring FIFO stock rotation. · Receive daily deliveries of raw materials, inventoried items and all other purchases verifying the quality and quantity based on the packing list ensuring they are consistent with the purchase order. · Generate barcodes for receipt of raw material and manage Excel-based inventory files. · Process inventory transfers between warehouses. · Monitor gate activity and coordinate with drivers. Requirements Required Skills · Strong organizational and communication skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and barcode generation tools. · Knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. · Experience with inventory systems and documentation. · Supervisory experience in a logistics or warehouse setting. Preferred Skills · 2 or more years experience in Shipping and Receiving · 2 or more years experience with various ERP/Shipping software
