Description Key Duties/Responsibilities This position will assist the Warehouse Manager in the daily operations of the warehouse department, inventories, product movement and tracking. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Load trucks in a timely manner and according to schedule Enforce operating instructions and safety policies while resolving routine equipment issues Track raw materials through proper use of scanning, and inventory control Transport products to and from various locations including combo dumps, scales, loading docks, and storage areas Manage pallets and other supplies in specified areas Receive, record, inspect, and store new inventory as it is delivered Monitor AGV activities Ensure that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse Maintain filing systems and records Prepare the required documentation; labels, sheets, BOL and Seals Answer phone calls as directed while assisting vendors as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Required Skills/Abilities Basic math, language, and reading skills Good verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to work with other departments Ability to organize self and others to complete tasks and responsibilities Understand the problem-solving process and application of principles Proficient with data entry, inventory software & Microsoft Office Suite or related software Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required Previous office or administration experience is preferred Knowledge in the operation of lifts (forklift, scissor lift, high lift) Minimum of three years working in a warehouse environment required Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift Physical Requirements Regular periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Getting off/on and driving forklifts. Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping. Must be able to move and lift up to 60 pounds at a time. Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced. Ability to move in, around and under equipment. Work in a refrigerated environment.
