GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Associate ensures that raw materials are received and unloaded to the proper location/tanks. Ensures that all finish goods produced are properly and safely loaded and shipped to proper locations in accordance with company policies and procedures. May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED equivalency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must have ability to reason and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scanner, scales, spatula, barrel cart, hand trucks, fork lift, utility knife, and mixer/blender machinery and computer equipment.

REQUIRED LENGTH & TYPE OF EXPERIENCE:

1 year of related materials experience.

Responsibilities

Unloading and loading of bulk trucks and railcars of raw materials into designated silos/tank.
Putting all raw materials away in proper location after QC inspection.
Receive in and inspect all packages to ensure no damages and compare packing list to actual purchase order for accuracy.
Scan and prepare items for shipments to customers and/or return to supplier.
Maintain record keeping systems for shipments, receivers, and transfers day to day.
Cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
Pulling of samples and mixing of finish goods in color mixer
Assist with monthly/yearly inventory.
Utilize a sit down forklift in a manufacturing setting to move materials.
May be required to work overtime and weekend as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
