Our commitment to our Core Values—People First, Do Right, Go Beyond, Always Improve, & Let’s Go!—drives our success in partnership with our customers and suppliers.   Position Summary The Shipping Specialist works in the eCommerce department assisting with fulfillment in shipping and return procedures, along with assisting our online store, ShagTool. Collaborate closely with the warehouse team, shipping carriers, and freight to ensure timely and secure deliveries of merchandise.   Work Schedule: Onsite at the Plymouth, MN branch. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Able to work rotating Saturdays (once a month). Pay: $20/hr   Responsibilities 70% Processing Returns * Support inventory control and cycle counting. * Sorting returned packages and determining the state of the returned product. * Identifying the original purchaser and refunding the appropriate amount. * Placing the item back into inventory for sale or processing as a damaged product. * Logging returns issues by product categories. 30% Shipping, Fulfillment, and Data Entry * Assisting the shipping and fulfillment team in picking and packing as needed. * Data entry – entering orders into the ERP software. * Packing Amazon FBA orders. * Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required. Qualifications Education & Experience * High school diploma or GED * 0-3 years of work experience in shipping and/or inventory control. * Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Excellent customer service skills and organizational skills. * Self-starting qualities and a sense of urgency. * Ability to research and track issues through the WMS and ERP systems and make logical conclusions as to the root cause of discrepancies. * Must be able to accurately count and key data in WMS, ERP, or other systems. Other Qualifications * Shipping/fulfillment/e-commerce experience is a plus. * Comprehensive experience with ERP and data entry systems preferred. * Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening. * Legally permitted to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
The specialist will spend 70% of their time processing returns, which includes sorting, determining product condition, identifying purchasers, refunding amounts, and managing inventory placement. The remaining 30% involves assisting with shipping, fulfillment, packing Amazon FBA orders, and entering data into the ERP software.
