Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to join our team. In this supervisory role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our shipping and receiving department, ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately, safely, and on time. Shipping & Receiving Operations • Supervise and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, including raw materials, finished goods, and equipment • Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips • Inspect incoming materials for damage, quality, and compliance with order specifications • Prepare shipping documents, manifests, and labels in accordance with carrier requirements • Schedule pickups and deliveries with our truck, freight carriers and couriers Team Leadership • Lead, train, and mentor a small team of shipping/receiving associates • Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance to meet throughput and accuracy targets • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, safety updates, and goals • Assist in onboarding new team members and provide ongoing coaching • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations at all times • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards • Report discrepancies, damaged goods, and near-misses to management promptly

Responsibilities
