Description We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and team-focused Shipping Team Lead to oversee daily shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role leads a team of Packing Technicians and Wrapper Operators to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe loading of outbound trucks. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a natural problem solver, and someone who thrives in a leadership role on the production floor. Essential Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support a team of Packing Technicians and Wrapper Operators during all shipping activities. Coordinate daily workflow to ensure trucks are loaded accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Monitor packing, wrapping, staging, and loading processes to maintain quality and accuracy. Communicate shipping priorities, staffing needs, and load requirements clearly to the team. Verify orders, documentation, and load sheets to ensure correct product and quantities are shipped. Collaborate with Production, Inventory, and Logistics teams to resolve discrepancies or delays. Ensure safe operation of equipment and enforce all safety policies and procedures. Train new team members on packing, wrapping, and loading standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area. Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance workflow, accuracy, and team performance. Requirements Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing operations required. Prior leadership experience preferred (lead, trainer, coordinator, or similar role). Strong understanding of packing, wrapping, staging, and truck-loading processes. Ability to read and interpret load sheets, order documentation, and shipping requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
